2. RESPONSIBILITIES

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Trading Operations Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this critical role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our trading operations. Your responsibilities will include monitoring market activity, identifying and resolving trading issues, analyzing trading data, and generating financial reports.

Key Responsibilities:

• Market Monitoring & Surveillance
• Monitor market activity, order execution, and trade fills in real-time.
• Proactively identify and investigate potential trading issues, such as order routing problems, execution slippage, and market data discrepancies.
• Conduct market surveillance to detect and prevent market abuse, insider trading, and other irregularities.
• Issue Resolution & Troubleshooting
• Diagnose and troubleshoot trading system issues, including order entry, order management, and execution platforms.
• Collaborate with technology teams to resolve technical issues and implement system enhancements.
• Provide timely and effective support to traders and other key stakeholders.
• Data Analysis & Reporting
• Analyze trading data to identify trends, assess performance, and pinpoint areas for improvement.
• Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including performance metrics, risk assessments, and regulatory compliance summaries.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualizations to track key trading metrics and performance indicators.
• Process Improvement
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance trading efficiency and reduce operational risks.
• Develop and maintain documentation for trading procedures and best practices.
• Participate in projects aimed at improving trading technology and infrastructure.
• Regulatory Compliance
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, exchange rules, and industry standards.
• Assist in audits and regulatory examinations by providing necessary documentation and explanations.

3. REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in trading operations, market risk, or a similar role.
• Strong understanding of financial markets, trading instruments, and strategies.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Nodejs/Javascript, Go or Rust.
• Experience with data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., SQL, Tableau, Power BI).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Highly detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Bonus Points:

• Knowledge of market microstructure and algorithmic trading.
• Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
