HN - Senior Backend Developer (Up to 3.800 USD)

2. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code. Review code submissions from team members to ensure accuracy and functionality.
• Designs, codes or configures, tests, debugs, deploys, documents and maintains services using a variety of software development toolkits, testing/verification applications and other tools, while adhering to specific development best practices and quality standards.
• Debugging and resolving technical issues across production environments.
• Implement continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for system automation.
• Assist in the management of server infrastructure, including configuration, monitoring, and maintenance activities related to DevOps practices.

3. REQUIREMENT

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
• 5+ years of experience in backend development using Ruby on Rails and Node.js.
• Strong foundation in system design (database design and normalization, networking protocol and layers).
• Strong knowledge of database optimizations and SQL query analysis, preferably with MySQL.
• Familiar with software development and testing tools such as Git, GitHub Actions, Swagger/OpenAPI, and JMeter.
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, etc.
• Experience in setting up and managing cloud environments like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• ⁠Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles.
• ⁠Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
